With the kids full of energy, and the summer sun shining down, why not make it a trip to one of the best waterparks in the world.

The 3 Best Waterparks in the World

Who doesn’t love a trip to a water park? Winding around lazy rivers, plunging down vertical drops, riding the waves or experiencing marine life up close and personal. There’s no better way to shake off the last of your quarantine blues.

When building a pool in your backyard there are several elements you need to consider. Pools above ground are some of the most common types of pools found in backyards that are easy to install and use. If this is your first experience, the experts at Watson will help you plan and prepare so that you can have the best swimming pool above ground.

I’ve scoured the globe to bring you my top 3 wet and wild waterparks so all you have to do is turn up, get wet and have fun.

1. Universal’s Volcano Bay – Orlando, Florida

Themed around Krakatau, a 200-foot-tall volcano that needs to be seen to be believed, the park boasts the tallest drop capsule slide in the world, The Ko’okiri Body Plunge.

Ride the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, a water coaster ride through the heart of the volcano or race against the family on Punga Racers, a four-lane racing slide.

The park has two wave pools, a lazy river, and a number of high-speed twisting body slides.

There are plenty of areas for sunbathing with cabanas for rent, a play area for toddlers and the relaxing Puka Uli Lagoon where you can cool off and relax. Volcano Bay ticks all the boxes for everyone.

2. Adventure Cove Waterpark – Singapore

What stands out the most about Singapore’s Adventure Cove Waterpark is its rare blend of high-speed water slides and exotic marine life.

The park contains South East Asia’s first-ever hydro-magnetic coaster. The Riptide Rocket allows you to experience all the slow anticipating climbs, sheer drops and terrifying twists of a roller coaster, but whilst getting very wet!

As well as a number of fast-paced water slides, the park features a huge wave pool, an action-packed water play area and an aquatic assault course featuring a daring cliff jump and a tight rope walk above water.

Adventure River lets you float through 14 different scenes including a jungle garden, mystical grotto and even an underwater tunnel where you can look out at a whole sea of marine life swimming around you.

You can swim with stingrays, and the park’s very own Rainbow Reef invites you to snorkel over a colorful reef amidst 20,000 friendly fish as they play hide-and-seek.

3. Happy Magic Water Cube – Beijing

Originally built for the 2008 Summer Olympics, Happy Magic Water Cube is China’s largest and most advanced indoor waterpark.

The Deep Water Tornado is the park’s main ride and allows you to experience twists and turns at ludicrous speeds before a terrifying drop into the water below.

The park also boasts Asia’s first 76-meter Aqualoop where riders plunge a nerve-shattering 40 feet before entering the high-speed circulating chute.

The park has a number of activity areas such as the Ride House, a giant water-play structure with 12 slideways, water-jets, and water cannons.

There is an interactive wet play area for toddlers, a wave pool, a lazy river, and even a giant jacuzzi. The Magic Water Stage provides live entertainment throughout your stay.
