Al Gore Defends “Consensus”
“It is true that the climate panel published a flawed overestimate of the melting rate of debris-covered glaciers in the Himalayas, and used information about the Netherlands provided to it by the government, which was later found to be partly inaccurate. In addition, e-mail messages stolen from the University of East Anglia in Britain showed that scientists besieged by an onslaught of hostile, make-work demands from climate skeptics may not have adequately followed the requirements of the British freedom of information law.”

It’s not about mistakes, Al, it’s about the systematic politicization of the issue.

This article is biased. Al Gore used words such as “climate deniers”. I deny man-made global warming, however I do not deny climate change. The climate is ALWAYS changing. For instance, we have Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
“The heavy snowfalls this month have been used as fodder for ridicule by those who argue that global warming is a myth, yet scientists have long pointed out that warmer global temperatures have been increasing the rate of evaporation from the oceans, putting significantly more moisture into the atmosphere — thus causing heavier downfalls of both rain and snow in particular regions, including the Northeastern United States.”
Well, a warmer planet would produce more rainfall, not droughts as those alarmists proclaim. The worse dangerous thing is a new Ice Age.

These pollutants — especially carbon dioxide — have been increasing rapidly with the growth in the burning of coal, oil, natural gas and forests, and temperatures have increased over the same period.”
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is NOT a polluant. Obviously Al Gore has an agenda.

Also to add to Daniel’s Comments, more moisture in the atmosphere would lead to more snow at the poles and hence the oceans will not be rising because of the increase of ice at the poles. 2nd H20 is the most important greenhouse gas and with more of it in the atmosphere you would think that would be a problem, however H20 in the atmosphere forms clouds which reflect solar radiation out to space. Hence are are feed back mechanisms in place that regulate the climate and we are just beginning to understand all the intricacies. Al Gore is a liar and a crook!!!!!

Mr. Gore’s agenda is to line his pockets with money. He is not about to give up this gravy train. In fact he will continue to milk this lie until he can get every penny from it.
Now the danger is this administration’s refusal to admit the truth about man made global warming. But I suspect President Obamha agenda is also to line his pockets.
