Your discussion is plausible, perhaps. Yet I see no sources. You can’t tell people to believe something because its, “common sense”. True, disease decreased, buy you attribute it to reduction of filth without any source. Also, reducing animal products we eat means a huge decrease in agriculture because only 10% of biomass is transferred up any food chain. (You CAN find hundreds of sources that will back that up) Meaning 90% of the food we grow for animals would be unnecessary if we stopped eating so many. Internal combustion engines definitely helped us in numerous economic and other ways, but our misuse of it is the real problem- not our use of it in agriculture. you can argue all you want- if we don’t stop the way we are living, there will be increased environmental problems. So then, what is your point? You distract from the real problem with an interesting, plausible distraction that really is meaningless as applied to a genuine problem.
