Politically motivated "enviromentalists" seeking grant monies are a TOXIC
solution to our economic needs. They appear to believe that all entreprneurs are bad people and cannot be trusted. The only ones
THEY trust are most of the political animals in the District of Criminals/
and District of Corruption. (excerpt from your article below) spm

"Unfortunately, many of today’s environmentalists have not picked up where Leopold left off. His entrepreneurial spirit has given way to political opportunism. Instead of business acumen, the vital few in the environmental movement understand politics, lobbying, and fund-raising as the tools to achieve THEIR political objectives. The headquarters for most major groups are located in Washington, D.C., and the personnel spend their time in the halls of Congress rather than in the wilds of nature." (AMEN by spm)

A television special recently showed how Uganda is saving its mountain gorillas by promoting tourism. The motive, of course, was the economic benefit, after the government learned people elsewhere in the world would pay to observe gorillas in the wild. Saving the gorillas was the byproduct. The many local business owners and employees now are motivated to protect the gorillas and their habitat in order to preserve and increase their own livelihoods.

What an inspiration. Reading pieces like this restores my faith in mankind on a profound scale. True environmentalism is entrepreneur led, not politician led.
