Great representation of an ideal. But here, wealth is defined purely as monetary (as opposed to social, spiritual, intellectual). It is clear that today's capitalism's main objective is accumulation of wealth, often at the expense of other elements beneficial to society. In a globalized world, there are too many forms of corporate coercion for any individual within that corporation to keep track of.

The lives of the people in any given community rarely enter a corporate boardroom discussion in a way that actually affects business practices in a significant way. This is because the modern capitalist system no longer rewards long term wealth creation coupled with justice - it rewards those who achieve huge amounts of short term gain no matter the moral cost. Any CEO who emphasized justice as a goal equal to that of wealth creation would immediately be oustered, no?

It's a simple fact that globalized capitalism rewards crime over moral action, allowing the worst elements of society to have the "liberty" to rise to the top and do as they please to those with less power. At the heart of it all is the word "power." The antidote to power is democracy, and democracy has no place in most corporate structures.

A pure free market running the world in a just manner is just as utopian an idea as is an anarchistic society achieving the same!

Now, let's talk about solutions...
