From the link above, "The Fed Bought What?!"

"Back in 2001, Fed purchases of treasuries exceeded $30 billion for the four consecutive days after the collapse of the World Trade Towers, total temporary injections into the banking system amounting to a whopping $295 billion."

How quaint $295 billion appears in retrospect. And that was for a genuine crisis.

BDS? Still? Apparently, the full impact of the Obama presidency has yet to strike you. Trust me. It will. And soon.

Woody Allen had a great observation. I think it was in \"Annie Hall\".

To paraphrase:

\"Most people\'s lives are terrible. Divorce, death, taxes; the ordinary slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.\"

\"But other people\'s lives are absolutely horrible! So bad that one wonders how they get up in the morning and get through one more day.\"

\"We should be grateful that our lives are just terrible, and not horrible.\"

That about sums up my feelings comparing the Bush administration to the Obama administration. We are going from terrible to horrible. Much is at stake. Get over your insensible hatred of a good man who did terrible things. I\'m not so sure this is a good man who is doing these horrible things.

As bad as Obama and his gang is, aren\'t we all glad Bush is gone? I still can\'t stand the sight of him. He should be in jail.
