Even though I was essentially an economic illiterate at the time, this comment struck me as most strange. However, no one contradicted Snyder on this point during his talk. Thankfully, I've since developed an appreciation for the cooperation that results from free markets, helping me to understand just how far off the mark Snyder was. The gulf between the views of Mises and Snyder couldn't be greater. Let us hope that more and more people come to appreciate the views of Mises!
