I would love to learn more; it is a great pitty that the trend of many zoos is to have one or two of the species in each pavilion.

The exceptions are; elephants (2 or 3 to a pavilion)snakes, emues (3 maximum in a pavilion) and tasmanian devils. The ere is a crying need to bring the public in on the need to allow these animals to live in the wild. The members of the public are not going to care unless we demonstate their importance to children and in turn children will have a much clearer understanding why land-clearing is deadly
