Which is fine since he can afford it. He has founded and is chairman of a multi-million dollar investment firm set up to sell carbon offsets to companies around the world. He stands to make tens of millions of dollars, maybe hundreds, if the carbon dioxide thing actually takes off. Since he has ploughed more than a little of the 50 million that his movie made into this project, he also stands to lose a chunk if this turkey doesn't fly. This little conflict of interest also sounds a lot like the "H" word. The scaling back is not on his agenda for himself. Even if global warming were real and it were a problem that we were even capable of impacting, we would need a much more credible source than Mr. Gore.
