Government seldom does anything that is not a failure since the purpose of government is to exercise power not to create anything of value. The money it spends is just wasted. Money is created out of thin air to be spent on worthless projects such as wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and who knows where else and on programs such as cash-for-clunkers and bailouts for GM and their unions to benefit certain members of the ruling elites such as GM, Chrysler,AIG,Citibank, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch etc.
