Twenty years ago I had a boss who was quite a fan of Keynes. He was absolutely certain that Keynesianism would work better if only we were more progressive and followed it more regularly. At the time I thought he was a dying breed. But now we see that Keynes is not dead despite all of his theories which have been proven fallacious. Obama, despite saying that it doesn't matter if the government is big or small but what matters is only that it works, and that it's not about ideology but about what works -- despite this, he is a Keynesian.
